Delivery & Takeaway Policy

This Delivery and Takeaway Policy outlines the terms and conditions for receiving orders placed through the Eatnear.in Platform. This policy is primarily for takeaway orders, as our initial model focuses on dine-in and self-pickup.

1. Order & Pickup Process

• Order Placement: You can place a takeaway order through the Platform by selecting a restaurant and their menu items.
• Order Confirmation: The restaurant will review and accept your order. You will receive a confirmation with an estimated pickup time.
• Pickup Time: The pickup time is an estimate. It is the responsibility of the business to ensure the order is ready for pickup at the estimated time.
• Self-Pickup: It is your responsibility to collect the order from the designated restaurant location during the specified pickup window.
• ID Verification: The business may require you to show your order confirmation (e.g., in the app or via email) and a valid ID before releasing the order.

2. Takeaway Charges

There are generally no additional charges for self-pickup orders. However, some restaurants may have a minimum order value. Any such fees will be clearly displayed during the checkout process.

3. Delivery (Future Implementation)

When our delivery service becomes active, the following will apply:

• Delivery Zones: Delivery will be limited to specific zones defined by the Platform. You must provide a valid delivery address within the designated zone.
• Estimated Delivery Time: This is an estimate based on preparation time and traffic conditions. We will not be liable for any delays that are beyond our control.
• Delivery Fees: Delivery fees will be calculated based on factors such as distance, order value, and time of day, and will be displayed at checkout.
• Customer Availability: If the delivery person cannot reach you at the provided address or phone number, they will attempt to contact you. After a reasonable waiting period, the order may be returned to the restaurant, and you may not be eligible for a refund.
